MeltDown^TM Shield AP                         Magnesium Chloride is an control agent with corrosion inhibitor used for melting ice on road surfaces.  It may also be used with abrasive substances such as sand to produce an ice melter without loss of traction.  It is used as a general snow and ice melter.  A corrosion inhibitor has been added to reduce corrosion of steel on structures associated on sites where MeltDown^TM Shield AP magnesium chloride ice control agent is used.

MeltDown^TM Shield AP ice control agent's magnesium chloride brine keeps on working long after it's down, to prevent new ice and snow buildup from forming.  It stays in liquid form to effectively melt ice and snow in cold temperatures when calcium chloride solutions may begin to glaze so you provide safer highways for a longer period of time to ease traffic, reduce accidents and keep material costs down.

Anti-icing is a tremendous weapon against snow and ice.  Used with sound anti-icing and de-icing strategies, MeltDown^TM AP provides effective, economical control over winter storms.

Magnesium chloride brines will always super-cool significantly below their true crystal points. When these brines are stored or used in cold weather climates for long periods of time, there is a possibility for some crystal growth. It can usually be re-dissolved by adding water.

 LIQUIDOW^TM calcium chloride is a liquid solution form of calcium chloride ranging from 28-42% calcium chloride.  LIQUIDOW^TM calcium chloride meets ASTM D 98 and AASHTO M144 requirements for calcium chloride purity.  ASTM classification for LIQUIDOW^TM calcium chloride is "Type L".

 Applications:  LIQUIDOW^TM calcium chloride is primarily used for dust control of unpaved roads and parking lots, and prewetting rock salt deicers.

 LIQUIDOW^TM calcium chloride also has a large number of other uses.  Uses are generally industrial in nature, and include concrete acceleration, tire weighting, brine refrigeration systems, waste water treatment, and as a calcium source for chemical processing.
